Educational Trips
Whistlestop Valley offers school groups the excellent combination of a fun day out alongside a fantastic educational experience.
Whistlestop Valley is the home of the Kirklees Light Railway, a heritage narrow-gauge railway that is rich in local history and runs along the old Clayton West Branch Line with deep-rooted links to the local textile and mining industries of times gone by.
Whether you are looking for a visit tailored around a specific curriculum topic, or just looking for a fun day out, Whistlestop Valley is a great choice.
