Big Adventures Tickets Terms & Conditions

  • Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged unless Whistlestop Valley cancels a session

  • Tickets may be transferred to other dates/times so long as we are notified by email (info@whistlestopvalley.co.uk) at least 48 hours before you are due to visit. A £3 admin fee is applicable for ALL changes or amendments

  • A £1.80 booking fee is applicable per transaction (not per ticket)

  • Visitors will be required to show their ticket/order confirmation to our staff at the attraction's entrance.  Confirmation can be printed out on paper or shown on a smartphone/tablet. Failure to show this could result in you being charged again

  • If you miss your arrival slot for whatever reason, we will try our best to accommodate you in a later slot that day.  However, this cannot be guaranteed and no refunds will be issued if a visitor fails to make their allocated timeslot

Annual Pass Holders

 

If you are an Annual Pass Holder, you should have received a letter from us detailing your booking instructions. If you haven't received your letter, or you're having issues booking, please contact us at info@whistlestopvalley.co.uk. We are extremely sorry that you are no longer permitted to simply turn up and travel.  Bookings should be made online and will be subject to availability.

 

Complimentary Ticket Holders / Ticket Offers / Vouchers Holders

 

If you wish to use a complimentary ticket, pass, voucher or offer, you will need to contact Whistlestop Valley at info@whistlestopvalley.co.uk to make a booking at least 48 hours in advance, or follow the instructions for online booking found on some tickets/vouchers. When doing so, you will need to provide the details found on the voucher, so please have this handy when booking. Without it, we will be unable to make a booking for you. Please note you will also be required to hand the voucher into the Ticket Office on the day of your visit.  We regret that bookings will be subject to availability.  

 

Max Card Holders

 

If your child is a Max Card holder, you are entitled to a special discount for BIG ADVENTURE tickets only (may not available at special events). In order to access this special discount, please book online selecting the Max Card option.  Proof will be required at entry in the form of the Max Card.  Failure to provide the Max Card will result in full price being charged.

REMEMBER: Your Max Card also entitles you to 10% off all purchases in our gift shop (needs to be presented at the till).

Carers

Carers are entitled to a special discount for BIG ADVENTURE tickets only (may not available at special events). In order to access this special discount, please book online selecting the Carer option.  Proof will be required at entry in the form of up-to-date PIP or DLA documentation.  Failure to provide up-to-date PIP or DLA documentation will result in full price being charged.

 

COVID Measures

We strongly suggest all visitors over the age of 11 wear a face mask/covering when on our trains and inside our station facilities (unless they have a valid exemption or are eating/drinking). Please remember that we are a family attraction & offensive face masks will not be tolerated.

 

Although social contact limits have been eased, we strongly suggest that visitors sit only with their visitor group. We kindly request that you do not sit in a carriage with people you are not visiting with.

 

We strongly suggest that visitors keep the carriage windows open when travelling on our trains to allow for a flow of fresh air, the hand sanitiser provided at regular intervals and continue to wash their hands regularly.
